Project Developing Manager
In collaboration with the corporate office and in line with its strategy, the primary objectives will be to structure and organize the development of this newly formed subsidiary and to develop large project sales, quickly establishing company as one of the premier solar market leaders. This is a challenging opportunity which may lead to greater responsibilities within the company as we continue to grow.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a concise business plan in collaboration with headquarters to insure profitable growth.
- In line with this plan: Identify potential clients in the US and sell PV projects within targeted segments, with technical support (back office) located in Beijing, China.
- Create proposals, presentations and contract negotiations
- Develop and build relationships with local business partners (local integrators, developers).
- Local administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with significant experience in energy business including its technical aspects. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Technical knowledge in electricity
- 3+ years sales and business development experience in PV or energy required (renewable preferred) especially in US utilities segment
- Established network in solar industry appreciated
- Proven understanding of US solar market dynamics ,and requirements
- Autonomous entrepreneur, self-motivated and results oriented
- Able to work in and international environment within complex organizations
- Reporting ability
- Frequent domestic travels
- Excellent English written/verbal communication skills required, working knowledge of Chinese (reading, writing, communicating) is highly advantageous
